Commercial Painters in Allentown, P.A.
In this job, we used a product by Sherwin Williams called Pro Industrial Waterborne Acrylic Dryfall. This product is designed to turn to dust before the over-spray hits the ground. Some turn to dust 3 feet after bouncing off the ceiling, others turn to dust about 6 feet after bouncing off the ceilings. That way you can spray in high areas without having to worry about over spray getting paint all over the place. All the dust can easily be swept or vacuumed.
Pro Industrial Waterborne Acrylic Dryfall was designed to paint ceilings or high walls that people won’t be touching. The bright full hiding white can increase the lighting efficiency of an open area. This product comes in flat, eggshell and semi-gloss. Pro Industrial Waterborne Acrylic Dryfall paint is formulated without silica, it is flash rust resistant and is suitable for use in USDA inspected facilities.
The first thing we had to do here was throw some tarps on the floor to help catch all the dust. We went up there to degrease and clean all the metals. By then we were finally ready to spray. At first, we had 2 sprayers running on the lift, then we figured we should give this 6 feet extension a try. It was fun. A bit different at first of course, but after a little while you get the hang of it.
It is specially designed for those hard-to-reach areas that you would usually need a lift for, or scaffolding, big ladders etc. We have used it in a few places by now and let me tell you, it saves time! We were able to get this job done thanks to this cool 6ft extension we got from Sherwin Williams. The extension is made by Graco.
